Pokemon GO DOWN: Server Status News as login issues hit fans WORLDWIDE

POKEMON GO DOWN UPDATE 1

Pokemon GO is still down this morning and there's been no word from Niantic's Support Twitter account to indicate that the problems are being fixed or when fans can expect the service to go live once again.

However, the official Pokemon GO Twitter account has just messaged fans to say:

"We're investigating an issue which is preventing Trainers from logging in. Thank you for your patience as we look into this issue."

Though most fans will hope it doesn't last too long, it's possible that if the outage continues for an extended period of time that Niantic could look to extend the Pokemon GO Equinox event end time as a way of saying sorry.
