Pokemon GO: You need to make Chansey a top priority

I recently wrote an article discussing Chansey’s recent buff after the Combat Power (CP) revamp. For those who have lives, Niantic changed the CP formulas to add more diversity to the game. Chansey received a +157.08% CP-increase and is now a top gym contender. You can read about her stat changes here.

Chansey, adding to the former article, now has the best combined stats in the entire game. That is correct: Number 1 Pokemon in terms of combined stats of stamina, attack, and defense.

Niantic suggested CP-tinkering will become more common, but what is interesting is that only Mewtwo’s stats beat Chansey’s; she still has better combined stats than the legendary birds and Mew included. What’s even more interesting than this? Chansey’s evolved-form, Blissey, will be the number 1 combined-stats Pokemon if the current formula remains the same.
